WHAT: Some of the area's most relevant poster makers working today presented the first ever MidPoint Poster Expo. Studios represented: FNHarsh, Powerhouse Factories, Southpaw Prints, and Warnick Art. Highly collectible. Limited runs. Silk screened by hand. This took place in the lower level of the Know Theatre. The bar was open, It was a gas. As an added bonus, Den got a flat tire that night!

The official FOM chapters are Kahiki (Central Ohio), Kon-Tiki (Southwest Ohio), Red Palms (Illinois), Gumbo Limbo (South Florida) and Queequeg (New England). This exciting exhibition featured screen printed art posters by several national and international artist/designers involved in the current wave of rock poster design for both the "indie" rock movement and some established rock artists. Artists include Print Mafia, Leia Bell, Dan Grzeca, Strawberryluna, Johnny Pundt, Chuck Keppler, Cricket Press, Adam Turman, Crosshair, Angryblue, Jeral Tidwell, Mike Klay, Standard Design, Sei Rey Ho and us - FNHarsh Design. Opening reception will be held November 30th, 7-9PM at 52.5 Records, 561 King St., Charleston, South Carolina. Afterword, you can take a really cool ghost tour of the graveyards of Charleston – see if the stoner chick is available to be your tour guide - she is the best.

FLATSTOCK 13 POSTER CONVENTION PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL Union Park, Chicago July 14th - 15th, 2007 Noon to 10PM FLATSTOCK 13 happened July 14th and 15th, 2007 during the PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL. Poster artists from around the world pitched tents in Union Park for the world famous convention sponsored by the American Poster Institute, dedicated to the promotion of music poster art and design worldwide. It was a lot of fun. Pop Rocked 2: Gig Poster Explosion, an exhibition of rock poster art featuring some of the Midwest's finest poster designers, took place at Powerhouse Factories' Jim Amann Gallery Friday, December 8, 2006 through January 5, 2007; the show kicked off with a free reception Friday, December 8, 2006 from 8 pm to midnight. The gallery is located at 30 West Pike Street in Historic Covington, Kentucky. This month-long exhibition will highlight creations by regional artists and designers focusing on rock posters, and also showcase works such as advertising design, CD packaging, paintings and more. Pop Rocked 2 will feature work by Covington KY's Powerhouse Factories; Brian & Sara Turner from Lexington's Cricket Press; Cincinnati based artists Keith Neltner of Neltner Creative and Rob Warnick of Small Print Press; Dayton, OH's Denis Mutter and Scott Kustowski from FNHarsh Design and illustrator Jason Goad; Clinton Reno of GalaxyReno and artist Will Ruocco from Columbus, OH; and Andrew Vastagh from Nashville's Boss Construction.
